From the 20th to the 24th of March I had the pleasure of going to Milan, Italy, to the most important Rhinoplasty Congress in Europe, the Milano Masterclass.
More than 500 nose plastic surgeons from 64 different nationalities attended this meeting. During 5 days and with more than 10 hours a day of talks, we were able to discuss the latest advances in nasal aesthetic surgery and rhinoplasty, and learn from the experience of great surgeons, including Dr. David Kim (San Francisco, USA) , Dr. Jonathan Sykes (Sacramento, USA), Dr. Boris Cakir (Istanbul, Turkey), and Dr. Pietro Palma (Milan, Italy) with whom I had the opportunity to chat.
Rhinoplasty or aesthetic surgery of the nose is the most difficult surgical aesthetic procedure, and requires continuous training and experience, to carry it out and obtain the best results, both from the cosmetic and from the functional point of view.
I consider that going to these appointments and congresses is the best way to always be updated regarding surgical techniques, in order to offer my patients the most competent and appropriate results for each of the situations.
Only through study, training and dedication, excellent surgical results can be obtained.
